SPEED will be covering a vast majority of the event, but there will be a 10 hour layover during the morning hours. This race will not only mark the beginning of the Grand-AM racing series, but also the beginning of a three race 'Endurance Championship' which is new for 2012. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Top Gear America wrapped, and word is it did well enough for a second season. While it's still taking me time to get used to it, I definitely think the show got better (video quality, chemistry, adventures) as episodes were cached. On a related note, the original Top Gear started it's 16th season in the UK last week. Go to Finalgear to keep up with the releases of rips. In other news, it looks like we can say hello to the first major motorsport event of 2011 with the 24 Hours of Daytona. I can almost see the cherry blossoms around the corner...almost.
