Neo Vintage: Porsche 911 - A German Driving Legend in Italy (Petrolicious)
Our friends at Petrolicious bring us a feature on an Italian gentleman named Donato Maniscalco, who aspired to own the same 911 he dreamed of as a ten year old. Once he got his hands on it, he decided not to shelter it along with his other collectables; he puts it to work around local back roads like they did in the old days.

Motorsport Pron: First Winning Porsche 911 Racer Meets Last Werks 935 (CarAndDriver)
Car and Driver magazine brings us a very cool special on the first 911 racecar to grace the road courses of the United States, along side the final 935 race car Porsche built. Both of these special Porsche's won endurance races before it was conceivable that they'd be able to. Think about the 935 for a moment, though; 700hp+ turbo, low displacement, late 70's technology -- an engine that's bullet proof reliable over 40+ straight hours of abuse. Incredible engineering.
