What to watch this weekend (April 21 - April 25)

• Classic Cars: The Paris Auction. Episodes 1 - 3. Sunday @ 3am - 5am (Discovery's HD Theater) replay
•  GT - Racer: Carrera Panamericana Cross Country Race. Sunday @ 10am - 11am (Discovery's High Def Theater) replay
• Australian V8 Supercars. The ITM 400, from the Hamilton Street Circuit in New Zealand. Sunday @ 5pm - 7pm (SPEED/SPEEDHD) replay from 4/16-4/17
• Classic Car Club. Porsche 356. Monday @ 2pm - 2:30pm (Discovery's HD Theater)

A relatively slim weekend for motorsports compared to last week, but quality automotive entertainment all around. HD Theater is playing all of the Paris Auction episodes early Sunday morning so set your DVRs; they're also replaying a classic GT Racer documentary episode just a few hours later. V8 Supercars action will be showcased on Sunday as well, a replay from last weeks race in New Zealand, which is sure to be another great battle. And last but not least, a Classic Car Club special surrounding the legendary Porsche 356. Pick your poison.

For the love of Pininfarina. #2

After the creation of the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, commissioned by James Glickenhaus in 2006, the need arose for a track version of the car; enter the Ferrari P4/5C. What's especially cool about this car, is that if everything goes as planned it'll be racing in the 2011 24 Hours of Nurburgring (June 23-26). But unlike the P 4/5 that's built on a Ferrari Enzo chassis, the P4/5 Competizione is built on a Ferrari F430 Scudaria chassis like the Lancia Stratos concept (also produced by Pininfarina).
