F1 is back after action in Bahrain after an exciting first race in Australia. Nico has put 4 straight race wins together starting from last season, despite Ham dominating every practice and qualy session. The new qualifying format has miffed plenty of participants and instead of adding to the action things have looked slower than ever. Q3 wrapped with about 4 minutes to go as folks stuck with times to preserve tire allocation for race day. Haas F1 did outstanding to take 6th place on their first grand prix, with Grosjean taking the honors. His teammate wasn't so fortunate as Gutierrez combined with Alonso's McLaren to make one of the scariest crashes in some time. Both drivers left unscathed. The Toro Rosso boys went at it, Sainz maintaining his lead ahead of a ticked off Verstappen through the checkered flag. Ham had the worst start ever, but strategy and the new optional third tire option helped him move from a first lap 7th position to finish second. Vettel took the lead early, but lost position on strategy. Raikkonen's power unit burned up and he retired. The current standings are as follows: Rosberg, Hamilton (-7), Vettel (-10), Ricciardo (-13), Massa (-15).

Enjoy your weekends.

Motorsport Pron: Inside Falken's ALMS Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Racecar (TheOctaneReport)

If I only knew about this video when I was chasing this car around ALMS circuits. Better late than never, especially since Falken Motorsports is no longer competing in the GTLM class.
