One of my biggest regrets in life is happening right now. I'm flying out of Germany, with an F1 race being run this weekend. Sigh. There will be other opportunities, so it's alright. What isn't alright is the chances of anyone keeping Sebastian Vettel from winning back to back championships in 2011. The competition is starting to focus on runner-up podium spots. For the sake of F1, I really hope someone goes to work and gets something accomplished. It's starting to look like Loeb in WRC in years past...boooorrrrrring. Just kidding, I'll be watching every week regardless. Oh and Top Gear America is back for a second season this Sunday.

Quick Vid: BMW ConnectedDrive Concept

Every year that goes by there's another International Auto Show; Essen, Paris, Detroit...you get the idea. At each of these events, manufactures pile into convention centers and pedal their wares. Along with showcasing the models to be released later that year, in showrooms around the world, concept cars are shown off to the media and enthusiast public. Concept cars sometimes make it to showrooms, but more than anything they are technical exercises used to show off the technological direction a manufacturer is going in for future automobiles. This brings us to the BMW ConnectedDrive Concept. This roadster is BMWs vision of future in-car information technology, with its crown jewel being a fully customizable, 3D Heads up display.
