The inaugural Indian Grand Prix will take place this weekend, on a brand new track built right outside of New Dehli. Much like the Korean Grand Prix last year, the relatively virgin track surface at Buddh and its affect on tire management will be of utmost importance; but when isn't that the case. According to reports, the Yeongam circuit in Korea hadn't been touched since the previous F1 race in the fall of 2010, and it showed in many areas away from those used in the race. Hopefully India provides a better product on this first go around and by the looks of the circuit design I'm sure it will be. Hamilton seemed to have mind state concerns last week so I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles the media, and more importantly his car, this weekend. Reaching podium for the first time in six weeks had to help Hamilton's overall mojo. Alonso, Webber, Button and Vettel are all doing what we expect them to, which is why they make up the top four in the standings, but 2nd place in the 2011 driver's championship is still mathematically up for grabs with just three races left.

Car Pron: Mechatronik M-Coupe 55 AMG

This video takes a look at a firm called Mechatronik out of Germany, which for the lack of a better word 'resto-mods' classic Mercedes-Benz (MB) automobiles with current generation MB engines and technologies; simply brilliant execution, but with a price to match. If you recall the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show post from last week, you saw Mechatronik showcasing their very classy wares.
