Current Events: 2022 Toyota GR86 | First Drive and Details (savagegeese)
Mark and Jack review the new GR86, which seeks to fix all the problems from the original GT86/FRS/BRZ. I seriously considered buying a FR-S when it first came out, but the cons outweighed the pros, especially with so many other cars used at this ~30k price point. From what I've learned of the GR86 so far, I kind of want one. A test drive at the very least. I'd kill that fake audio being pumped in, that's for sure, but we have to be thankful that a manufacturer wanted to build an affordable car like this in 2022. Bravo, Toyota and Subaru. Bravo.

Current Events: NEW Lotus Emira First Look: Supercar Looks For Sports Car Money (Carfection)
Henry talks Emira turkey with Gavan Kershaw, Lotus' director of attributes and product integrity. This new Lotus will replace all current small sports cars, including the Evora and will be the new entry level sports car in the range as part of their overall production expansion plans for the future. Supercharged V6 and Turbo AMG I-4 options are in the plans, with styling cues from the all electric Evija. Sadly, this will be the last non-hybrid/all-electric Lotus model on offer. Buy these cars while they're around, folks, and cross your fingers for the progression of synthetic fuels.

F1 in Brazil this weekend. Hams is a six time champion, taking second at COTA. Bottas is showing his worth taking the checkered flag at COTA for his first time after taking pole. Verstappen took third and is calling out Ferrari for cheating after their pace disappeared post-clarification from the FIA. McLaren is looking strong heading into 2020. Renault is looking a bit more racey, getting ready for next year. The 2021 F1 regulations are firming up. The short and technical Interlagos circuit awaits us, it should be another interesting race.
