A good selection of motorsport this weekend with the crown jewel being the ALMS Montery race. This is a 6 hour Petit Le Mans contest going down at Laguna Seca Raceway. Unlike the BGP two weeks ago, even more of the bigger ALMS teams/cars will be in attendance, including the continuously developing factory Porsche GT3R Hybird. It'll run late and there will be a possibly abridged replay on ESPN2 the following day starting at 1pm. Grand-Am racing is back at Mid-Ohio and lastly IndyCar goes to Motegi for the Japan 300; this race will be broadcast live on Versus and will be a nightcap affair due to the timezone difference. Set your DVRs and enjoy the weekend.
