Light weekend, but that's how it goes sometimes. Look for ALMS and IndyCar action at Mid-Ohio this weekend. They'll be tag-teaming the venue much like the upcoming Baltimore Grand Prix, to be held over Labor Day Weekend here in Baltimore. There's a good chance ROTL will be in attendance for the BGP, but in the meantime cross your fingers for us. I plan on uploading video clips daily to make it more of a live event in a far from live medium. Enjoy your weekends, we'll talk turkey in the upcoming weeks.

For the love of P: Ruf CTR Yellowbird and Ruf CTR 3 (CarandDriver)

If you remember the last time the infamous Yellowbird was showcased on ROTL, or better yet are up to date on the history of the legendary Porsche tuner Ruf Automobile GmbH, you know how special the CTR model is. Ruf's newest CTR, the CTR 3, is (loosely) based on the mid-engine Porsche Cayman. It pumps out an awe inspiring 750hp & 708tq from its twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter flat-six. Power, however, is only a fraction of why the CTR 3 is a worthy successor.

Quick Vid: 600hp APR Stage 3 Audi TT RS (Tuned)

On this episode of Tuned Matt drives a familiarly modified coupe, for those of us close to the VAG scene in the US; an APR Stage 3 tuned Audi TT RS. This car came to the US primarily based on a FB marketing campaign where hundreds of thousands of people asked for it to come here. It arrived at our shores last year, but with one catch; no DSG equipped cars with launch control, only manual transmissions. While I'm typically anti-two pedal cars the use of launch control, with the European-only DSG TT RS, shaves its sprint times to that of many entry-level supercars. That and the automated dual-clutch automatic transmission is arguably the best automotive innovation of the last decade. Ah well, can't win em all.

Car Pron: F40's on Parade @ Silverstone.

There's nothing like fifty-eight F40's in the morning. This footage is from the annual Silverstone Classic event in the UK, from earlier this month. Thanks go out to Jalopnik for finding this gem a week or so ago. There's one thing that can be said after enjoying this video...not all F40 suspensions were created equal. YOU know who you are.
