Upcoming Show: VAG Fair 2011

When August comes around on the East Coast, you get that special feeling once again. No, it's not your lady's busy hands, it's that tried and true gathering for German car enthusiasts in York, PA! This event is called VAG Fair and after 4 years of continuously growing, this fifth year will most likely be the biggest turn out yet. Cory Sterling and his rag tag bunch of friends, family and associates will put on this latest show, Saturday August 13th @ 10am - York Fairgrounds York, PA 17404. If you have a car you'd like to show or would just like to check it out as a spectator, pay attention to the following:

Show cars before the show: $15.00   Day of show $20.00
Spectators before the show: $7.00  Day of show $10.00

The show is in about 12 days so you'll need to move quickly on registration if you haven't already. There are judging classes for VW, Audi, BMW, Mini and Aircooled cars. Visit the VAG Fair website and forum for additional information.

This years Vag Fair will be bittersweet for many of us as one of our favorite comrades in cars and more importantly in life, won't be there. The 8380labs print you see above for this years show is a tribute to our friend, associate and colleague, Alexi DeRochambeau who passed away earlier this year. The good news is that his blue MK3 Golf is being built to it's final phase and trailored to shows by some of his close friends in New Hampshire. We'll always have great memories and on that note, here are a few of mine from last year.
