The Car Show, Adam Carolla was originally supposed to be the main character (Jezzas equivalent) on Top Gear USA (along with Eric Stromer and Tanner Foust) when it was first presented to NBC as a pilot a couple years ago. The original pilot was received well from the viewers, but after putting millions into the effort NBC backed out, presumably due to the 'Big Three bailout' that the Government was in the middle of. NBC scrapped TGA and later, after Adam was knee deep trying to get another show (sitcom) picked up, Top Gear America was picked up by the History Channel. He couldn't do it, Adam Ferrara got the spot and the rest is history. Now SPEED channel, who is looking for more content, decided to put out it's own show...The Car Show is the result.
